Neuromuscular disorders affect the nerves, the muscles or the signal transmission between the two. Typical symptoms include muscle weakness, sensory disturbances, tingling, gait instability, muscle cramps or pain. Disorders of the spine can additionally lead to radiating pain, numbness or signs of paralysis.

A particular focus of our practice is the diagnosis of such disorders. For this purpose, we use modern neurophysiological examination methods such as nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyography (EMG) as well as evoked potentials and neuromuscular ultrasound examinations. Thanks to many years of experience and close cooperation with specialist centres, we can also provide well-founded assessments of complex cases.
